It appears as though the potential for Braun Strowman to join AEW isn’t as far fetched as some fans believe. Speaking to TMZ Sports, new AEW signee Mark Henry discussed how there is reportedly interest from ‘both sides’ regarding a deal.
‘[He’s] super high on my list,’ Mark Henry said about the former WWE Superstar. ‘It’s not an all Mark Henry decision, but there’s already interest on both sides.”

“So, hopefully by the time he’s allowed to wrestle in August ’” I think the middle of August ’” we can have a serious conversation about contractual things” Henry added. “But right now there’s interest on both sides.’
Braun Strowman is reportedly asking for around $20,000-$25,000 per appearance on the independent scene. He apparently also wants first class air travel, a two-night stay in hotel for the event; all meals and ground transportation covered.
It’s unknown at this time if AEW is going to sign any of the recently released WWE Superstars. Andrade El Idolo was recently revealed as a new signing, but the likes of Aleister Black and Braun Strowman will have to wait until late August if they are to sign.
