On July 22nd, AEW Collision is set to host a major championship match, a development that has been officially confirmed.

The Acclaimed and Daddy A** have had an impressive run leading up to this match. Despite their loss to The House of Black at the Double or Nothing event in May, they have since secured three victories in trios matches.

Their most recent win was against the Bollywood Boyz and The Blade, on the July 7th episode of Dynamere.

On the other hand, The House of Black has had a successful reign as Trios Champions for over four months. They claimed the title after defeating The Elite, which includes Kenny Omega, Nick Jackson, and Matt Jackson, at the Revolution PPV event.

The House of Black has been a consistent presence on AEW Collision since the show’s premiere back on June 17th.

Despite the absence of an official brand split, they have chosen to remain exclusive to the Saturday night show.

This decision has been explained by Malakai Black, who stated that the team wanted to focus on their performances on Saturday nights.
