AEW shows reportedly cancelled

Two AEW shows have reportedly been cancelled and will no longer be taped, according to a new report doing the rounds.

Andrew Zarian reported this week that both Dark and Dark: Elevation were no longer going to be taking place, due to the new AEW Collision shows on Saturday night.

“AEW Dark and Dark Elevation have ended for the time being” Zarian confirmed on Twitter. “This in part has to do with All Elite Wrestling signing a new deal for AEW Collision to air on Saturdays.

“Part of the new deal is that content will exclusively air on WBD. As of today, this doesn’t include ROH” he added.

AEW Collision

It’s interesting that the company are dialling back on the non-televised programming for the new Collision show on Saturday nights, but it does make sense.

The company will be getting more income with the Collision show as opposed to the ad-revenue that they would generate for their YouTube programming.

This is another sign that the company are moving onwards and upwards, following an unbelievable pre-sale for All In at Wembley Stadium.
