AEW is reportedly looking at putting together a major tag team match for the upcoming AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam show at Arthur Ashe Stadium on September 22.

According to the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, AEW want to have Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston vs. Minoru Suzuki and Lance Archer at the event, with Archer and Suzuki both being part of NJPW group Suzuki-gun.

The only other match that has thus far been confirmed for the show is Cody Rhodes vs Malakai Black. Brian Pillman Jr has also issued a challenge to MJF for the event, but that match has not yet been made official.

There were rumors of All Elite planning for Eddie Kingston to win the TNT Championship at the New York City show, but these appear to have changed.
