AEW Rampage Opener: Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament Quarterfinals

The night kicked off with the Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament Quarterfinal Match. The duo of Daniel Garcia and Sammy Guevara faced off against Matt Hardy and Jeff Jarrett.

Garcia and Guevara emerged victorious. However, the drama didn’t end there. Ethan Page came to the rescue of Matt Hardy, saving him from a post-match attack from Jarrett and co.

Hikaru Shida’s Triumph

The next match saw Hikaru Shida take on Marina Shafir, taking the win and further putting herself forward for a potential AEW Women’s or TBS Championship match.

More Blind Eliminator Tag Team Action

The Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament continued with another Quarterfinal Match. This time, Brian Cage and Big Bill took on Trent Beretta and Matt Sydal. Cage and Bill would eventually take the win and move on.

A Surprise Attack

The final match of the night was a tag team encounter featuring John Silver, Alex Reynolds & Evil Uno against Hangman Page & The Young Bucks.

The match took an unexpected turn when Konosuke Takeshita distracted the referee, allowing Claudio Castagnoli to launch a surprise attack on Page. This led to a pinfall, resulting in a win for Silver, Reynolds, and Uno.
