Following the huge news that Cody and Brandi Rhodes have left AEW, it has been revealed that the company are apparently looking at signing some major “game-changers.”

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed the current numbers that the company are dealing with and how they will be able to “compete” with WWE when they get a new television rights deal in 2024.

‘I don’t know what the whole situation is. What I can tell you is they 100% absolutely have a budget and I also know that there were at least two people who tried to get an offer and were kinda told, they were not really given a huge offer” Meltzer began.

“And I think that the basic gist of what I’ve heard is that if and when this next television deal comes in, which would be the start of 2024, which is a ways away, and they can get a big increase, then, you know, they’ll spend to get guys” Meltzer continued.

It is not known if WWE has genuinely offered Cody and Brandi Rhodes deals to come in anytime soon, but if they have, it’s likely to be an absolutely massive amount.
