AEW Women’s Title Match Announced for Double or Nothing 2021

Last updated

This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite featured a ton of news heading into the Double or Nothing PPV event at the end of the month. One of the key pieces of information surrounded the AEW Women’s Championship; with Hikaru Shida confirmed to be defending the belt at the PPV.

Hikaru Shida will be looking to keep her title when he faces Dr Britt Baker at Double or Nothing 2021. Baker is currently the #1 ranked contender in the AEW Women’s Division, so the announcement of the match was always going to be a formality.

AEW Double or Nothing 2021 will be taking place on Sunday May 30 from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida. So far only two matches have been confirmed for the PPV, however it is likely that a match involving Jon Moxley/Eddie Kingston and The Good Brothers will be announced at some point.
