Former WWE Superstar Aleister Black/Tommy End is currently sitting out his 90 day no compete after being released from WWE. The former PROGRESS star has until early September before he can make his next move on a national/international level.
It was reported in this week’s issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Aleister Black is pretty much confirmed for a move to All Elite Wrestling.
“The strong belief is that Tom Budgen, the former Aleister Black, is headed here” Dave Meltzer wrote, which while this is about as vague as it gets? There’s not much more officially that can be said due to the 90 day no compete.
Aleister Black To AEW
“Although there has been talk in WWE that the company made a mistake in cutting him” Meltzer also noted. “And [WWE] may make him an offer to return, so that could change the equation.”
These claims of Aleister Black returning to WWE have also been reported across a number of sites. Again we don’t have anything concrete regarding this, but Black has been extremely positive discussing WWE in his post-release comments.
