AEW All In London was anticipated to be a spectacle, and it didn’t disappoint. However, a significant change had to be made to the coffin match, much to the dismay of AR Fox’s supporters. The reason? AR Fox couldn’t make it to the UK.

The heat on AR Fox was palpable. The root of the issue was a discrepancy with his paperwork. Interestingly, AR Fox hasn’t participated in an international event for several years, leading many to speculate on the reasons behind this absence.

Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful Select shed some light on the situation. AEW had reservations about AR Fox’s transparency regarding his participation in All In. Despite these concerns, the company went ahead and booked him.

It seems AR Fox was aware that wrestling in London might pose a problem, yet he didn’t communicate this clearly: “It was noted to Fightful that Fox hasn’t worked international dates since 2016, and the company did not feel like he was forthright about his ability to work outside the country, though we haven’t heard exactly why he couldn’t. Ultimately, the late switch caused what we saw unfold on Dynamite, with AR Fox taking a pin, losing to Nick Wayne. We’re told that despite being well liked in the company, there was heat on him for the situation.”

AEW All In: The Match That Wasn’t

AR Fox was initially slated to face off with Swerve Strickland against the duo of Sting and Darby Allin at All In. This situation was distinct from Rey Fenix’s, who was never genuinely scheduled for the match.

Sources revealed to Fightful that AR Fox hadn’t taken part in international matches since 2016. The company felt that he wasn’t entirely open about his capability to wrestle abroad.

The exact reasons for his inability remain shrouded in mystery. This last-minute change led to AR Fox’s defeat on Dynamite, where he was pinned by Nick Wayne.

The Aftermath

Despite being a popular figure within AEW, AR Fox faced significant backlash for this situation. Discussions arose about his association with the Mogul Embassy Affiliates and whether he should continue with them. In the end, a decision was made to part ways.

AR Fox’s future in AEW remains uncertain. He possesses immense talent and has finally been given the opportunity to showcase it on a grand scale. Unfortunately, the complications surrounding All In London have cast a shadow over his prospects.
