WWE reportedly wanted new AEW signee

Last updated

WWE reportedly wanted to get the number of a recent AEW signee during his appearance on a recent episode of AEW Dynamite.

Bandido recently made an appearance in the main event of Dynamite challenging for the Ring of Honor World Championship.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez that the company were so impressed with his match against Chris Jericho that they wanted to speak to him on the spot.

WWE wanted to speak to Bandido

Bandido was offered a contract to join All Elite following the match, but it is not known if he has as of yet signed with the company.

It’s bizarre that WWE would wait this long to seek out a talent such as Bandido, as he has been performing on the independent scene and Ring of Honor for quite some time.

Bandido was previously the Ring of Honor Champion, so it’s not like he was a complete unknown before he appeared on Dynamite this week.

There’s still a chance that WWE could end up signing him, should he opt to not take a full-time contract with All Elite Wrestling/Ring of Honor.
