AEW star is official ‘done’ with the company

Last updated

An All Elite Wrestling star is official ‘done’ with the company, due to their lack of appearances on AEW Dynamite and Rampage.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer confirmed that Bobby Fish is now done with the company and will not be re-signing.

‘It sounds early because he started in October, but I know you’re right. It’s not ’˜probably’ ’“ he’s done” Meltzer noted whilst speaking to Bryan Alvarez.

“It’s confirmed, he’s done. Whatever the deal was, either he was not offered a renewal or he chose not to be renewed” Meltzer concluded.

Bobby Fish gone from AEW

This follows a recent report from Fightful Select that indicated Fish would not be re-signing for the company.

As noted by Meltzer, Fish has only been with the company since October 2021, so this is a pretty quick turnaround on his short-term contract.

It’s not currently known what the status is for Kyle O’Reilly or Adam Cole, although Cole is expected to be on a much larger and longer contract with All Elite.
