Time is running out for Bryan Danielson.

At 42 years old, the former world champion has more wrestling years behind him than in front. With his injury history, there is no telling when the former champion may be forced to retire again. It appears Danielson himself also knows that he has limited time left in the ring.

Bryan Danielson is thinking about retirement from pro wrestling and AEW

The AEW star was part of this week’s Collision. He cut a promo in which he revealed a promise he has made to his daughter about finishing up his wrestling career:

“I told my daughter, that once she turns 7, I would start finishing up on my career. She’s 6 right now and I’m a man who keeps my promises, especially to the people I love. So guess what, time is running out. But with that said, I would not go gently into that good night. If you think I will, you don’t know who the hell I am.”

Bryan said that he plans to make this the most epic year of his career. He went on to challenge NJPW TV Champion Zack Sabre Jr for a dream match at WrestleDream PPV event which was later made official. The show will take place from Seattle, Washington on October 1.
