Chris Jericho Update from Reported Injury on AEW Dynamite

It was recently reported that Chris Jericho was injured as part of the Blood & Guts match from just over a week ago. Jericho took a fall from the top of the WarGames style cage and this contributed to injury.

Originally, it was confirmed by several outlets that both The Inner Circle and The Pinnacle escaped the Blood & Guts match without any significant injuries, however the confirmation of Jericho being injured now contradicts the original reports.

It was reported by Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio that Chris Jericho is legitimately injured. Alvarez confirmed that Jericho was injured from falling off of the cage, potentially suffering from a fractured elbow.

Chris Jericho did appear on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, although he did not wrestle. The plan is still for The Pinnacle to face The Inner Circle at the Stadium Stampede match at Double or Nothing; however the role that Jericho will be able to play is still currently up in the air.
