CM Punk has been a major talking point over the past few weeks, but will he be appearing on AEW Collision this week?
According to a new report from Fightful Select, the former AEW Champion is set to be appearing on the show this weekend (July 1st, 2023).
“There was some confusion among fans regarding tonight’s episode of Collision that is being taped in Hamilton, Ontario. CM Punk wasn’t announced publicly for the show, but we’re told he was set to be there and perform in some capacity. This has always been the plan as best we’ve heard” the site reported on its Patreon subscription service.
“As Fightful Select reported this Spring, there will be times when AEW runs Dynamite and Collision on back-to-back nights as they’ll get good deals on the building running it consecutively” the report concluded.

With the big drop from week 1 to week 2 in ratings, it’s clear that AEW has a lot to do to ensure that they keep a strong viewership for their new weekly endeavour.
