AEW Star CM Punk was a big ratings winner on the debut episode of the AEW Collision show on Saturday, June 17th 2023.

The quarter-hour viewership for the show was released by WrestleNomics today and it showed that everything involving the Straight Edge star drew very well.

The match featuring the former All Elite Wrestling Champion teaming with FTR to take on Samoa Joe, Jay White and Juice Robinson also did very well.

Fans knew that the match would be coming in the main event, and the start of the match gained a 9% jump on the previous quarter-hour at 9:30 PM, going up from 756,000 to 823,000 and then going up again as the match went into the final quarter-hour of the night to 834,000.

Considering that this was a show on a Saturday night, it’s a decent number to start off with. Whether or not the show can maintain this trajectory remains to be seen going forward.
