After four weeks of AEW Collision, CM Punk has emerged as the figurehead of the brand new show. Punk has been involved in all four main events, wrestling in three and providing commentary for one.
His involvement extends beyond the ring, as he is reportedly very involved with the show’s creative aspects.

Repairing a Damaged Reputation
According to sources from PWTorch, Punk is taking his role as a locker room leader seriously. He is incentivised to “repair his damaged reputation”. The belief is that he is taking pride in the idea that Collision is “his show” and he’s “putting his stamp” on it both on-screen and off-screen.

CM Punk: Interaction with The Elite
There were some issues after the very first week when Punk returned and took some digs at The Elite during his promo.
However, that seems to have died down, and there has been nothing else said since then. Tony Khan, the president of AEW, has specifically made sure to keep anyone that may have issues with Punk away from Collision.

CM Punk’s Upcoming Match
Punk is set to face Ricky Starks in the final of the men’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament on the fifth Collision this coming Saturday.
This match is eagerly anticipated by fans and is expected to further cement Punk’s position in AEW Collision.
