AEW star CM Punk is set to compete on tonight’s debut episode of All Elite Wrestling Collision, but why is he wrestling on the show?

According to a new report from Fightful Select, Punk himself pushed for a match as part of his comeback rather than just speaking on the mic.

“Fightful has been told that CM Punk pushed to wrestle on the first Collision. He’s never wrestled in the United Center, and wanted to be able to do that” the site revealed on its Patreon subscription service.
