CM Punk: Fans wonder what is in his bag on AEW Collision

CM Punk opened up the debut episode of AEW Collision in a fiery way, and he came out holding a red bag with a mystery inside.

During his absolutely incendiary promo, Punk claimed that what was in the bag was his, that he never lost it and he was going to keep it until someone took it off of him.

Fans assumed that it was the AEW Championship, but Punk did not reveal exactly what it was and speculation continued. Here are some of the reactions from the fans on Twitter:

  • I hope that’s not an AEW championship in that bag CM Punk is holding.
  • That CM Punk promo was money. THAT’S why he’s back. And the fact that he’s carrying around (in a bag) the AEW championship considering he never lost adds a special, invigorating wrinkle to the title scene.
  • CM PUNK SAYS HE HAS WHAT HE NEVER LOST IN THE BAG AND HE STILL THE CHAMPION UNTIL SOMEONE PINS HIM OR TAPS HIM OUT!!!!!
  • So they say there’s no brand split but there’s CM Punk supposedly with an AEW World Championship in a bag claiming to also be champion when MJF is the champ.. Nothing says “no brand split” like having 2 world champions Tony.. #AEW#AEWCollision
