AEW star CM Punk talked ahead of his match with Bobby Fish on this week’s AEW Dynamite show. The Straight Edge star discussed several topics during an interview with Christopher Walker of DAZN, including the former NXT Superstar.

“I wasn’t paying attention to NXT or wrestling whilst I was gone” CM Punk revealed. “I knew who he was and the group he was in but I can’t say I’ve watched him too extensively.

“Looking at him now, he’s definitely an impressive person. I was there and to see him mix it up with Danielson a couple of weeks ago and it got the gears grinding here. He’s somebody I can’t wait to share the ring with.’

CM Punk has been working with a number of different talents ever since his return to pro wrestling with AEW, and Bobby Fish is another talent that it was certain he was going to have a great match with.
