The wrestling world is abuzz with the shocking news of two top AEW stars, CM Punk and Jack Perry, being suspended just days before the highly anticipated ‘ALL OUT’ event.
This suspension comes in the wake of a heated backstage altercation between the two at the AEW All In event in London.
The root of the confrontation can be traced back to a disagreement over a match segment. CM Punk expressed his reservations about Perry using real glass in an injury angle, fearing it would cause genuine harm to Jungle Boy.
Despite these concerns, real glass was indeed used during the FTW Title match at All In. Perry didn’t miss the opportunity to highlight this during the match, leading to heightened tensions. Upon returning backstage, the situation escalated rapidly. Reports soon emerged that both Punk and Perry faced suspensions due to their physical altercation.
