Former WWE Superstar CM Punk recently took to Twitter to respond to a tweet that Sasha Banks posted ahead of the head-to-head battle between AEW Rampage and WWE SmackDown last week.
Banks posted “it’s clobberin’ time” ahead of her match with Becky Lynch on the show, which went head-to-head with CM Punk vs Matt Sydal from Rampage.
Punk vs Sydal actually drew better than Banks vs Becky from SmackDown, especially in the all-important 18-49 demographic.
Punk would say “indeed it was” in response to Banks, along with a pretty funny meme.
