AEW star CM Punk has been a notable name on the lips of wrestling fans since the ‘Brawl Out’ incident, but could he return at AEW Revolution 2023?
According to a new report from PWInsider, it appears as though there isn’t anything to indicate that he could be returning during the show tonight.
“We have gotten a LOT of emails asking whether CM Punk and/or FTR could be there tonight. We have heard nothing about Punk potentially appearing tonight” Mike Johnson revealed on the site.
“At some point, in my opinion, AEW will have to make a decision about if and when Punk is returning as obviously his contract is an expensive one. I just don’t see them paying Punk to do nothing until it expires” he concluded.
