All Elite Wrestling Champion CM Punk was reportedly in a backstage altercation following the ALL OUT PPV event this weekend.

After a fiery post-show media scrum, where Punk ripped into AEW EVPs, Colt Cabana and Hangman Adam Page, he reportedly got into a ‘melee’ with The Young Bucks.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez confirmed that there was a situation involving Punk and Nick & Matt Jackson.

‘Apparently there was an altercation after (Punk) left the press conference. He was obviously very mad, and we had multiple, multiple sources state that there was an altercation” Alvarez began on the podcast.

“I wasn’t there, I don’t know everything that happened, but many people said that there was an altercation with Punk and the Young Bucks.

“I don’t know who else was there, but it happened, and everybody knew about it, and a security guard did in fact go running out of the press conference” Alvarez continued.

‘I would presume that there were people that did the press conference that knew this had happened, but Tony Khan did not know that it had happened because Tony Khan did not have his phone and nobody told him until after” Alvarez concluded.

Dave Meltzer also noted that he was told there was a “melee” between the two camps, but nothing further has come out since then.

It seems to be a fraught situation backstage in All Elite right now, exacerbated by the fact that CM Punk is once again the AEW Champion.
