An All Elite Wrestling star’s theme song appeared in the latest series of Cobra Kai on Netflix, a show that has been a big hit on the streaming service.
There have been a number of different AEW and Kai cross-promotional things taking place over the last couple of years, including Dr Britt Baker cutting a promo alongside character John Kreese.
The latest crossover between the pro wrestling promotion and karate-based streaming series saw Chris Jericho’s ‘Judas’ theme song get played and sung by one of the characters on screen.
Cobra Kai Judas
Judas is of course a massive hit for fans watching in a live environment, as without fail the live crowds have been singing along with the track for years now.
It turns out that the man behind the character Stingray is a massive pro wrestling fan, and he has been to a number of AEW events in the past. With that in mind, it’s not a shock that he’s managed to get a reference to the Jericho Appreciation Society into the show!
