WWE Superstar and former All Elite Wrestling star Cody Rhodes recently made a big claim with regards to AEW’s existence.
A fan recently tweeted about Cody and Brani being so massively important to AEW’s creation and Cody actually replied:
‘Facts are all out there to see’¦without Brandi or I it wouldn’t exist” the former All Elite Wrestling TNT Champion claimed.
“Look no further than some of the infrastructure in place or even half the names of the events” Rhodes then added.
“Tony, Bucks, Kenny, Jericho, Dana, Hang’¦pioneers. I’ve moved on to the next stage for me, but beautiful memories” the WWE Superstar concluded.
Cody Rhodes on AEW
You cannot doubt just how important the Rhodes family are to AEW, and that includes Dustin, who is heading up training for the Women’s division.
It was Cody and The Young Bucks that headed up the ALL IN event that lead to the creation of All Elite, and that must not ever be forgotten by wrestling fans.
Looking back at WrestleMania this year, it is still incredible that Rhodes actually did make the jump back, especially with his AEW music and gear intact.
Could we see Cody back in AEW one day? It is certainly not out of the question.
