WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray recently addressed AEW star Eddie Kingston and his comments regarding WWE. Eddie Kingston stated last Saturday that WWE didn’t ‘respect legends’ on their programming, and Bully Ray says that Kingston needs to “shut the f*ck up.”
‘In this case, Eddie needs to shut the f**k up and stay in his lane” Bully Ray stated on Busted Open Radio. “And his lane is [of] an AEW guy speaking about AEW, and flying the flag for AEW.”
“Then, I’m completely onboard” Ray added. “Tell me how great AEW is, fly the flag for your company, show me that you wear your heart on your sleeve.”
‘You were indie guy for the majority of his career until this company [AEW] took a chance on you. You’ve learned to love it and everything about it. Don’t take the easy way out and knock the WWE” Bully Ray noted, continuing to question why Kingston took shots at the competition.
“If Cody wants to destroy a throne, I get it. If Jericho wants to say FU, I get it. But, Eddie? Why? There’s no reason for him to say [such stuff]” Ray would conclude.
Kingston himself recently addressed his own comments, saying that he will fly the flag for AEW. ‘Let’s all calm down. You think I’m going to go bury the locker room that I work for? No, plus I love our locker room. I love AEW. What do you want from me?’
Bully Ray did also state that he is a massive fan of Eddie Kingston, he just feels that his recent comments about WWE were not needed.
