‘Book us, brother’: FTR reminds Tony Khan they still work for AEW

Last updated

AEW has seen a huge influx of talents in the past year. Each new debut has created buzz for the promotion but all of them combined have also created issues, something that FTR appears to have addressed.

The limited TV time has resulted in many hot acts struggling to get a spot on AEW programming. This has come to a point where teams such as FTR have to remind Tony Khan that they still work for the promotion.

FTR call out Tony Khan

The duo competed at NJPW Royal Quest II in London on Saturday where they defeated Aussie Open in a tag team match. Dax Harwood cut a post-match promo and reminded Khan that they are still contracted to AEW:

‘This is the first time we have been overseas since 2019, and we thank you. Two things. First thing’s first: Tony Khan, we still work for you ’“ Book us, brother. Second thing and most importantly, these guys [Aussie Open] are the future of tag team wrestling. All self-preservation to the side, they may be the best tag team today.’

FTR last wrestled for AEW during the All Out PPV on September 4. They teamed with Wardlow and faced Jay Lethal and Motor City Machine Guns. They had only one AEW match in August as well where they joined Wardlow to face Ren Jones, Silas Young, and Vic Capri during the August 31 Dynamite.
