A major AEW star is reportedly discussing a new contract extension with the company amid some bit stars coming up for renewal.
According to a new report from Fightful Select, Hangman Adam Page is currently discussing a contract extension with Tony Khan and co.
“Fightful Select has learned that Adam ‘Hangman’ Page and AEW are in the process of working towards a potential new contract.” the site reported.
“Hangman Page was not only one of the original signings, but one of the people involved with announcing the formation of the company on January 1, 2019, though he wasn’t given Executive Vice President status.
“Those we spoke to said that negotiations started fairly recently, and there doesn’t seem to be much of a timetable on when that could get done” the site added.

Page has been a very big part of AEW programming for quite some time, so it is clear that All Elite will be wanting to keep him around for the time being.
As noted by Fightful, it will probably be some time until a conclusion to proceedings is found, as there will definitely be some outside interested in securing the services of the cowboy (cough WWE cough).
