An AEW star has filed for a rather strange trademark recently that would probably be quite difficult to actually pull off in court.

According to a new report from PWInsider, Jeff Jarrett has applied for the trademark ‘heat,’ obviously referring to the insider wrestling term.

AEW News: Jeff Jarrett applies for Trademark

“Jarrett filed for a trademark on the term “Heat” on 6/1, PWInsider.com has confirmed” the site revealed this week, confirming that the trademark covers the following:

“The trademark filing is for  goods and services in the realms of ‘Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring a professional wrestler and sports entertainer in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes.”

It will be interesting to see whether or not Double J is able to actually pull this off, because there would be a lot of shoot interviewees that would start owing him some cash…
