Jim Cornette is not one to shy away from controversy, and he certainly had some derogatory comments on the AEW Anarchy in the Arena match.
The Blackpool Combat Club faced The Elite at AEW Double or Nothing 2023 back in May, and the main event match was a spectacle that received critical praise from many…just not Corny.
“Now it’s time for Anarchy in the Arena otherwise known as a**holes in the asylum. [sighs]” the former WWE name would begin (via SEScoops).

“Twinkletoes, The Buckeroos and Hangnail Page against plumber Moxley, Claudio, Wheeler useless and poor Bryan Danielson, once the greatest wrestler in the world now forced to hold the chicken while the geek bites its head off at the county fair” he added.
“There is nothing worse than being a geek, other than being the holder for the geek. Can you imagine how low that is, to have to hold the chicken while the other guy has the high paying job of biting it’s head off?” Cornette would continue.
It’s not a shock that Cornette wasn’t a fan of the match, and he will absolutely some some…interesting…comments to make when Kenny Omega likely goes on to feud with MJF at some point for the AEW Championship.
