The former Luke Harper in WWE was a beloved figure in every locker room he was in; as was shown by the outpouring of support he and his family received in the days following his passing.

JR would reveal that he made a promise to Brodie Lee’s son, Brodie Lee Jr, on the most recent episode of the Grilling Jr podcast.

“Brodie Jr? He’s become quite the beloved figure back in the locker room area” Jim Ross begin on the podcast “Everybody loves the little fart! He’s just personable as hell.”

“When he wrestles for his first World Title? I promised that I would announce that match” JR would reveal on the podcast. “That’s just me, and you know I wanted to make him happy. And he thought that was the coolest deal. So apparently his dad had been saying nice things about me and my work or whatever. And the little boy remembered it and thought that was pretty cool.”
