New Japan Pro Wrestling legend Kazuchika Okada has said that he wants to face CM Punk before it is too late for the pair to compete against each other.
Okada stated that he wants to face the WWE legend who returned in 2021 on AEW Rampage, and it’s likely that the feeling is mutual.
Speaking to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, CM Punk and Bryan Danielson were the names brought up that he wants to face.
‘Danielson and Punk would make for some incredible matches” Okada began. “A lot of those dream match scenarios are about getting excited for the possibilities’¦.
“So it is important to keep that excitement and anticipation, I think. Still, if we wait too long, they’ll both retire eventually, so I want to face them both while they’re still active” Okada concluded.
