AEW Champion Kenny Omega recently spoke to Adam’s Apple. The former IWGP Heavyweight Champion discussed several topics during the interview, including which WWE Hall of Famer he sees as his own personal dream match.
‘I felt like I just missed out on maybe wrestling Kurt Angle, and that would have been a dream match for me,’ Kenny Omega began. ‘He’s a guy that I consider probably one of the best of all time. E
“Especially for what I try to do in the ring and I try to bring in athletics and real sports. He was a jack of all trades and there won’t be anyone like him ever again, I don’t think’ Kenny Omega concluded.
Angle of course retired from the industry just a couple of years ago, around the time that Omega was a massive part of New Japan Pro Wrestling. Sadly this appears to just be one of those matches that will remain a dream match in the minds of fans forever.
