A major free agent from the independent scene is reportedly backstage ahead of tonight’s AEW Dynamite taping.
Ring of Honor World Champion Jonathan Gresham is apparently backstage at the show, according to a recent report from Fightful Select.
It is not confirmed if Gresham will be appearing on tonight’s show, or whether he is just in town to visit friends at All Elite.
Fightful noted: “AEW sources have indicated that Original ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham is slated to be at the show tonight. We’re not told if he’ll appear on screen or is planned to do any work with AEW in any capacity. Gresham has been a free agent since the week after ROH Final Battle.Â
“Gresham will have a quick trip back down to the Atlanta area, as his Terminus 2 show that he’s promoting with Baron Black is Thursday evening. He’s set to take on AEW star Santana for the Original ROH World Championship, live on FITE.”
