The AEW World Champion MJF has come forward in support of Cash Wheeler.

The FTR member was arrested by Orlando Police Department early Friday morning. He was charged with one count of aggravated assault with a firearm. Reports that have since come out reveal that the incident took place weeks prior to the arrest. The AEW star had filed a plea of not guilty in the circuit court of Orange County, Florida on 3 August.

Since the news came out, a lot of fans have been questioning AEW’s decision to keep featuring Cash Wheeler on TV despite the ongoing case and asking for action against the current AEW tag team champion.

So far, the company has only released a statement on the matter, saying that they are closely monitoring the situation.

AEW Champion MJF says Cash Wheeler is a great guy

Now MJF has commented on the situation via a tweet, saying that all humans are flawed. He said that Wheeler is a great dude and claimed that the match between FTR and Young Bucks at ALL IN is still on:

“Kinda disappointed how many dorks there are on this app that jump to conclusions so quick. A ton of peoples privilege is showing. We’re all human. We’re all flawed. We all make mistakes. Take it from a guy who’s made more mistakes than most. I’ve had my ups and downs with FTR but Cash Wheeler is a great dude and a bad ***. You’re getting FTR Vs Young Bucks in front of 80k plus on August 27th.”

AEW announced on Rampage Friday night that FTR will be addressing the people at this Saturday’s episode of Collision. We should get a better idea about whether or not the company will be moving forward with their ALL IN match then.
