IMPACT held their 20-year Slammiversary show this past weekend, and Samoa Joe was not among the legends that would appear.

Names such as AJ Styles, Kurt Angle, Sting and even Dixie Carter appeared at the show, but the former TNA and X-Division Champion did not.

A number of fans online questioned why the ‘Samoan Submission Machine’ was not at the event like some of the other former stars.

Taking to Twitter, the former X-Division and heavyweight star revealed why he was not at the event celebrating the company.

‘Dearest cackling hens. I wasn’t asked, or available, and it should not mar a great milestone set by Impact. Happy Anniversary, and my best going forward to all involved.’
