Saraya, formerly known as Paige in WWE made her debut for AEW last week. The big question everyone has in mind is if she will be wrestling for the promotion. A new report might have revealed her in ring future.
Fightful Select revealed some details on her deal with AEW recently. They noted that the company contacted her not too long after she hit free agency in July:
“The former Paige hit free agency in early July, and Fightful heard that All Elite Wrestling made contact with her not long after. There was word as far back as Starrcast weekend that AEW had interest in the former Divas Champion.”
Saraya AEW Deal
The thing everyone is talking about is whether or not Saraya will be wrestling in AEW. While the site did not have a clear answer to the question, they indicated that her deal is that of an active competitor:
“However, we’re told for the amount of money it was signed for “largely implies that she’ll be wrestling in some capacity.” We haven’t been given any indication of whether or not she’s been cleared, but she is set to speak on AEW Dynamite tonight.”
Regarding the reaction to her AEW debut, they noted that a number of talents actually endorsed her once she became a free agent. The people they have spoken to were all excited about her joining the company.
