All Elite Wrestling star Saraya apparently turned down a huge match before making her debut on AEW Dynamite, after leaving WWE this year.

Speaking on his Keepin’ it 100, Konnan revealed that he tried to get the former Paige to appear at the TripleMania show for AAA this year.

“As a matter of fact, we were gonna use her for TripleMania. We spoke to her management, but she had a date in England I believe with her parents’ promotion and she wasn’t down for wrestling” Konnan revealed.

“[That] Doesn’t mean she couldn’t, but she wasn’t down to wrestle” the WCW legend concluded.

Saraya post-WWE matches

It has not been confirmed who the former Divas Champion would’ve actually faced at the TripleMania event, but it certainly would’ve been a high-profile contest for her.

AEW still has an ongoing deal with AAA, so there is a chance that she could end up working with the promotion at some point in the future.

As of writing, we still don’t actually know if Saraya will be wrestling in AEW or whether she will be used in a ‘GM’ type of role.
