Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks, also known as The Elite, appeared to lose viewership on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

WrestleNomics recently posted the numbers for this week’s show, and it is not great viewing for the EVPs of All Elite Wrestling.

The Bucks and Omega took on AR Fox and Top Flight on the show, with the match starting in Quarter Six. Although the fifth quarter managed to get a quarter-to-quarter increase to 923,000 viewers, the sixth quarter that featured the start of the trios tag team match went down 8% to 848,000.

To make matters worse, the viewership went down in Quarter Seven, which featured nine minutes of the match, meaning that the viewership was down to around 779,000 viewers by the end of Quarter 7.

Although you cannot always exactly confirm what has affected ratings, it’s very likely that it was the Trios match that drove away viewers.
