All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan recently took part in a media call ahead of the AEW Double or Nothing 2022 PPV.

One of the questions posed to the President surrounded Maxwell Jacob Friedman and his mentioning of a potential move to WWE when his contract is up in 2024.

“Wrestling thrives when real life meets on-screen. The real-life is sometimes just as exciting as what is on screen. There was no major agent free-agent market [before AEW], the competition was brought to the biggest stage in the 90s with Turner.

“[We’re] taking what’s happening with potential movement in real life and Wardlow vs MJF. It’s been a chance for MJF to air some real-life grievances and people are looking forward to the fight on PPV.”
