AEW and IMPACT stars The Good Brothers Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows are making their return to New Japan Pro Wrestling. The duo are set to be part of the Tag Team Turbulence tournament that takes place on NJPW Strong in July.

The former three time IWGP Tag Team Champions will be facing Clark Connors and TJP in their first round match. This will be first time that The Good Brothers have appeared on NJPW programming since their departure in 2016.

The NJPW English language website has announced the following matches will be taking place in the first round:

  • Clark Connors & TJP vs The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows)
  • LA Dojo (The DKC & Kevin Knight) vs West Coast Wrecking Crew (Jorel Nelson & Royce Isaacs)
  • Yuji Nagata & Ren Narita vs Fred Yehi & Wheeler Yuta
  • Violence Unlimited (Brody King & Chris Dickinson) vs Team Filthy (JR Kratos & Danny Limelight)

AEW Stars in New Japan Pro Wrestling

The Good Brothers are currently involved in the AEW storyline involving Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks. As predominately IMPACT stars, Gallows and Anderson have been appearing sporadically on AEW programming, with their trios match teaming with Matt Jackson on this week’s Dynamite being their most amount of action on the programme.

AEW has been building around the former members of NJPW’s Bullet Club, so it is likely that Gallows and Anderson will stick around as the ‘Forbidden Door’ and New Japan Pro Wrestling are prominent in All Elite Wrestling.

You can watch NJPW Strong each and every week on NJPWWorld.com or via FITE TV.
