Recently, Lisa Marie Varon, better known as Victoria from her WWE days, shared some unsettling experiences she had in the locker room of All Elite Wrestling (AEW).

Victoria’s Unexpected Encounter in AEW
Victoria, a seasoned wrestler with a career spanning almost two decades, decided to visit the AEW locker room.
However, instead of the warm welcome she might have expected, she was met with an atmosphere that left her feeling distinctly uncomfortable.
She had gone backstage to meet her friend and fellow professional wrestler, Sarah Stock. But as she ventured into the locker room, she was met with unwelcoming glances and a palpable sense of hostility.
The environment was so uncomfortable that she preferred to meet Stock at the curtain, away from the unsettling atmosphere backstage. Speaking on GAW TV, she revealed: “I went backstage to go find Sarah (Stock). She goes, ‘Are you gonna come back here to say hi to me?’ I go, ‘Um, can you meet me at the curtain?’ I go, ‘Oh no, all the new talent’ and then of course when I went back there, I got the look like, what the f**k is she doing here? Excuse my language. I felt uncomfortable.”

A Hostile Environment?
Victoria described the locker room vibe as something she would “never treat a human” with. This statement is quite significant, considering her long-standing career in the wrestling industry.
It raises questions about the kind of environment that exists backstage in wrestling companies, especially for those who are not currently part of the roster.
Interestingly, even though Victoria knew some of the people backstage, she still felt out of place. Despite the presence of familiar faces like Mark Henry and Christopher Daniels, the overall hostility made her decide to leave early.
