A top AEW star was reportedly injured during the taping of this week’s episode of AEW Rampage on the TNT Network.
According to a report from Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, TNT Champion Wardlow was apparently injured during his match.
“Wardlow may have’¦did you hear anything about Wardlow being hurt? Wardlow appeared to be hurt. I don’t know how serious. He appeared to have a leg injury, but he did come back” Meltzer said on the podcast.

It’s a tough break for Wardlow, if he has been injured beyond a small knock during his match on the taping.
Whilst the rising star hasn’t been used in the best way since winning the TNT Championship, he is still clearly considered by Tony Khan and co as a huge potential star down the line.
Incidentally, Wardlow joined Ring of Honor Television Champion Samoa Joe to face Josh Woods and Tony Nese.
