It was recently reported that The Young Bucks contacted WWE following the backstage altercation with CM Punk at the AEW ALL OUT show.
Several outlets claimed that The Bucks had contacted the company trying to get in touch with Triple H for a potential move down the line.
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that Matt and Nick Jackson actually denied doing so.
“The only thing I know on that is they have said that story is not true” Meltzer noted on the podcast. “They talk to people in WWE, that’s not unusual. I do know that they’ve denied that stuff.
“I’m not saying it didn’t happen, I am saying THEY denied it happened” Meltzer concluded.
The Young Bucks to WWE
Whilst it certainly wouldn’t be wildly out there to expect The Bucks to actually contact WWE, we aren’t going to really know if they did on this occasion. Well, until they reveal it themselves in a post-AEW shoot or something.
Getting The Young Bucks to WWE would be a major move for WWE, seeing as they were in lengthy negotiations with the company ack in 2018 before AEW was created.
