Bryan Danielson could return to AEW just in time for the WrestleDream PPV.

The former WWE star suffered an arm injury in his match against Kazuchika Okada at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door II back in June. Danielson finished the bout despite being hurt and he won the match.

Originally it was said that Bryan will be out of action till September at least. Latest reports, however, have revealed a new exciting possibility for the American Dragon’s fans.

Bryan Danielson: AEW star could return sooner

Dave Meltzer wrote about the AEW star in the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He suggested that Bryan Danielson could return just in time for the upcoming PPV event:

“It will probably need a photo finish, but Bryan Danielson was told he could return in October, and being in Seattle, that would be the place if everything goes well and if he can cross the finish line by those dates.”

Tony Khan announced the WrestleDream PPV last month. The show honoring the life and legacy of legendary promotor Antonio Inoki will be taking place from Seattle, Washington on October 1st.

There are no words on any potential creative plans for Danielson if he does return. He was scheduled to face Kenny Omega in a singles match at All In before the injury.
