Hall of Famer criticizes Adam Cole for lack of muscle

AEW star Adam Cole has notably lost some muscle after joining the promotion and many fans have criticized him for this change. The former NXT champion has also been dealing with multiple injuries lately and Booker T believes that his current physique can become a problem for him.

The wrestling veteran talked about Cole’s issues on his Reality of Wrestling podcast (H/t WrestlingInc). He claimed that if Cole ends up getting a surgery and he loses any more muscle, it will be hard for him:

‘If Adam Cole has to have surgery and he’s down for six, nine months and he, you know, lose any more muscle, it’s going to be hard on this brother, you know what I’m saying? Right now, he’s about a buck 60.”

While Adam Cole has been a featured AEW star since his arrival, many don’t see him as a believable world champion contender. Per Booker T, he is very light and we need to get some muscle on him:

“We gotta get more weight on Adam Cole, you know what I mean? That’s his problem, he’s light, bottom light. We gotta get some muscle on this kid. That’s probably one of the reasons why he’s going out there, getting hurt because it can’t be the schedule at AEW.’
