While suspensions in wrestling are usually handed out with an expiration date, it’s not the case for The Elite. The group was suspended after their All Out brawl with CM Punk and Ace Steel. Latest reports reveal that even the trio of Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks are not aware of how long their suspension will last.
Fightful Select revealed in a new report that the AEW stars as well as the coaches that were suspended for their involvement in the brawl don’t know how long their suspension will last:
“As of now, the numerous talent and coaches who were suspended don’t necessarily know how long their suspensions are going to last.”
According to the report, the people backstage in AEW believe that the suspensions will continue until any potential legal situations are figured out:
“Those backstage in AEW said that they believe that will remain the case until any potential legal situations are figured out and the investigation into the situation is complete.”
Kenny Omega has been spotted in Japan amid his suspension. Fightful reported that Omega, Michael Nakazawa and Christopher Daniels were all already scheduled to be off AEW programming this week to visit Japan where they are now.
