Tony Khan has made a big statement about the financial success of AEW in 2022.

The AEW president joined the folks at Wrestling Observer Radio (H/t Fightful) ahead of tonight’s All Out PPV. Speaking about the success of his promotion, he mentioned that this is the first time two wrestling companies are topping the rating charts on two different nights:

“This is the first time there have been two wrestling companies that have the ability to be the number one show that night on cable and two wrestling companies that are grossing the kind of money.”

Tony Khan then made a big statement about the financial status of AEW. He revealed that the company they started in 2019 is on course to grossing $100 million in 2022:

“I’m not grossing a billion dollars, but I’m gonna gross over $100 million this year. That’s pretty unprecedented and it’s been over 20 years since anybody is doing that. To me, success is sustaining it.”

Khan later talked about the last person who achieved this feat – Eric Bischoff. He claimed that he has respect for Bischoff and the success he had with WCW.

AEW All Out is scheduled for Now Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois tonight.
