YouTuber and 2-0 pro boxer Jake Paul will be fighting against Ben Askren on April 17th. Former Bellator and ONE Championship title holder Askren will be essentially representing MMA when he gets in the ring with Jake Paul in April; although many critics, fans and pundits are worried about Ben Askren’s standup game, as it was not the main weapon in his MMA arsenal.

UFC President Dana White recently weighed in on the Triller presented fight. ‘He talks a lot of sh*t,’ White said of Jake Paul on the ‘Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson’ podcast. “We’re going to find out. I hope you can bet on this thing because I’ll f*cking bet a million dollars that he loses this f*cking fight. A million dollars that he loses this fight.’

Dana White on Jake Paul

“Let’s be honest: Jake Paul is not a f*cking boxer ’“ this guy’s a f*cking YouTube kid,” Dana White continued. “Let me tell you about this kid: So the kid he’s going to fight is a wrestler, a real good wrestler, a decorated wrestler, but he’s actually fought real guys. He’s been a world champion in other organizations.”

Jake Paul saw these comments from Dana White and quickly made his response on social media, saying ‘Dana let’s double the bet up! $2 Million.’

Unlike the proposed Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul boxing match, this bout appears to still be going ahead as planned in April on Triller PPV.
