Joe Fournier has reportedly decided that he will be contesting the result of his bout against KSI at Misfits Boxing 007 where he lost via knockout.
Reporter Michael Benson took to Twitter to confirm that the fighter was contesting the controversial result, where the YouTuber turned Boxer appeared to hit an elbow on Fournier to secure the KO.
“Joe Fournier has declared that he will be filing an official complaint to the commission who sanctioned the KSI fight (the PBA) over the elbow KO and said he intends to get the result overturned to a disqualification win for himself” the reporter noted.

It remains to be seen whether or not the result will actually be overturned, but this is certainly a blow for JJ and Misfits Boxing overall, who were hoping to build to a Jake Paul showdown at some point.
We’ll hopefully get more information on the contestation of the ruling in the coming days, although it is pretty evident that it was in fact an elbow that appeared to KO Fournier.
